We are a few days from reaching the most feared time of
the semester…Finals week! As time starts to run out we are rushing to finish up
our last assignments and projects. Everyone’s stress and anxiety levels are
elevated. Although we have survived the battles all semester we still have to
win the war with finals to assure total victory. In order to accomplish this
many of us have come up with plans for preparing for finals. After becoming in
tuned with everything I am going to need to have completed for the end of the
semester I devised a personal plan of my own.
My biggest goal is to finish the semester out strong. There
are several things I intend on doing to ensure that I have as good of a chance of
making this goal a success as possible. First I plan to attend all my optional
classes next week including the ones on the Reading Day so that I can ask as
many last minute questions as I can. Next I plan to do all extra credit assignments
that are offered to me so that I can boost my grades as high as possible before
the exam. I am also going to use all the study guides available to me to
constantly keep track of what I know and what I need to work on. Most of all I plan
to study non-stop I am going to rewrite my notes and keep them in an organized
manner so that I can carry them around with me everywhere and look them over every
chance I get. My most difficult challenge is going to be the two exams I have on
Wednesday because both Microbiology and U.S-History contain a lot of information
but I will not give up.
The only thing I could do right now is try my best to remember everything and prepare as much as possible. After all the hard work I have put in throughout the entire semester I would be devastated if my grades fell apart now at the very end. I’m going to do everything in my power to avoid such a disaster. I hope you all find the motivation it takes to wrap up the semester with grades you’re proud of.
